| Biography |
Bitd , in the 90s, I formed a record label, Woof! records, with Ian Gotts, as a vehicle to release our own 12″ singles under monikers like ‘Camp Freddie’, ‘Wide Receiver’, and ‘Lapdancer”. After a run of approx 12 singles and 12 remixes (of acts like The Cardigans, and Africa Bambaata), Ian and I went our own separate ways … but it was around this time (1999) that I first came across the mp3 format … which meant we could email tracks to the US instead of sticking ‘em in the post and waiting a week for delivery … truly revolutionary … and that’s when I moved into the digital sphere and is where I’ve existed ever since. So nowadays I freelance in advertising agencies designing online advertising campaigns and microsites … or I design and build websites for assorted private clients. But music (of the sampled variety) is still my first love. |
