| Biography |
“Trouble might knock on your door” is one of the lines from Monika Mays debut album “Breathe” that was recorded during her last year at the Paul McCartney School in Liverpool. In April 2010 the album was finished and the hard work paid of as she got offered to play in high respectable venues in Oslo and Liverpool where she headlined during Liverpool Sound City and Liverpool Music Week 09. This remarkable singer/songwriter has a depth of soul and honesty in her songs which she believes lies in her Norwegian roots, where truthful beauty and deep mysterious nature lies as inspiration. At the moment she is playing with the amazing cellist Tibi & Her Cello, and together they are performing Monika May´s original songs in a new and exciting acoustic setting.
