| Biography |
Rachael Wright is a singer and songwriter from Liverpool. Her emotive brand of personal, evocative stories and observations portray the tension between the melancholic and the hopeful. March 2008 saw the long awaited release of the debut album, ‘Just Like He Said’, first played to over 1000 people at the Liverpool Philharmonic when supporting The Blind Boys of Alabama. Another highlight has been then inclusion of her track ‘Black Horse and Me’ on the soundtrack to David Morrissey/Tubedale films release, ‘Don’t Worry About Me. One recent performance reviewed by the music press was described as… “Pretty, dazzling and evocative material of the highest order” |
