Rachael Wright is a singer and songwriter from Liverpool. Her emotive brand of personal, evocative stories and observations portray the tension between the melancholic and the hopeful.

March 2008 saw the long awaited release of the debut album, ‘Just Like He Said’, first played to over 1000 people at the Liverpool Philharmonic when supporting The Blind Boys of Alabama. Another highlight has been then inclusion of her track ‘Black Horse and Me’ on the soundtrack to David Morrissey/Tubedale films release, ‘Don’t Worry About Me.
Since then, Rachael has been honing her indie/folk sound with her band, The Good Sons, developing a new edge and vitality. Following her October tour ‘A Storm is Coming’, she has begun work on exciting, new material for her second album release in 2010.
