We are looking for a talented, self-motivated, aspiring young documentary director/editor to spend 2010 with Mcfly.
We are looking for someone to spend a year shadowing the band globally, on tour, in rehearsal, backstage, doing promo, in meetings, or just getting a coffee at Starbucks…wherever the band are busy, you will be with them.
- You must have your own camera and editing tools, and you will be required to make continual short documentary style clips as content for the band’s new website, as well as other programming content.
- Film and deliver finished edits as directed but also with initiative – to come up with ideas, spend time hanging out with band, to be proactive!
- You must be free to travel and we are looking for talented film course graduates or first jobbers looking for this kind of major opportunity. You need to be based in London.
- Any commercial DVDs or Longforms or major national TV documentaries will pay a bonus.
- Salary based on skills and experience approx 15K-18K. We will take care of all associated travel expenses outside of London.
